Working in IT means you constantly have to move forward. Resting on laurels is not an option. Here at eServices we thrive on that continuous forward motion.
However, sometimes you see something and are fired ahead. From moving at a jog, you suddenly burst into a sprint on a travellator with a tail wind. Today that happened. The technology responsible for this sudden burst was Microsoft Teams.
Microsoft Teams brings email, chat, documents and notebooks together into one collaborative place. It can also bring in content from a wealth of third parties. We had our initial session with Teams this morning and already we can see how it will allow us to work more effectively. Tomorrow we roll it out to the rest of the eServices team.
Then we will be looking for schools to move with us.
We suspect when you see your technician using it, you will want to be part of it.
Moving forward is great, racing forward into an efficient, time saving new system is even better.
