We at eServices offer a unique auditing service wherein we check the information on your school/trust website is up to date and follows Ofsted requirements.
About Our Website Auditing Service
We have made our own audit checklists from scratch, which are personalised according to the UK Government's requirements for each school type and Academy Trust (Academy Schools, C & VC Schools, F & VA Schools, Nurseries, PRUs, Special Schools, Trusts, etc.).
We also regularly keep up to date with any changes to the requirements. For example, we updated all our templates to reflect the changes implemented in the big May 2024 website requirements update published on the UK Government website.
All of our audit checklists use a special colour-coded system to visually represent which requirements have or have not been met:
Red = This requirement is not available on your website.
Amber = This requirement is incomplete or outdated on your website.
Green = This requirement is on your website and nothing appears to be wrong with it.
Black = This requirement is not applicable to your school/trust because of your individual circumstances, but this requirement would need to be included on your website if your circumstances change, so we’ve included it in your checklist to ensure you’re aware of it (for example, a school that doesn't have a uniform wouldn't need the uniform requirements included, but would need them if they later decide to implement a uniform).

Once the checklist has been filled out, we send it to your school/trust's designated contact via an email, which also contains a very detailed breakdown of exactly why any requirements were marked Red, Amber, or Black and what specific amendments need to be made to make your website fully compliant with Ofsted requirements. We always aim to be as detailed as possible with this to ensure it's easy for our schools and trusts to clearly understand what they need to do.
If you school/trust is subscribed to our Website SLA, you can then send any website amendments to us via the email or via our support desk so we can get your website updated on your behalf.
Please note it is the school/trust's responsibility to ensure they read the email sent to them and take the necessary action. It is also the school/trust's responsibility to ensure the information on their website is accurate and meets the relevant legislation.
How Can I Get a Website Audit for My School/Trust?
If your school/trust is subscribed to our Website SLA, then we will do your audit for FREE as part of the Website SLA package. We have a schedule in place to audit all our schools once per year by default, but you are welcome to request an updated audit whenever you want, especially if you have an Ofsted inspection due soon.
If you are subscribed to our Website SLA and would like to request an updated audit, then please email us at websupport@cloudw.co.uk or send a ticket through to our helpdesk at https://cloudw.jitbit.com/helpdesk/
If you are not subscribed to our Website SLA, then we can still audit your website! We also offer audits as a standalone service so every school/trust can benefit from our unique and detailed service. Please contact us at info@eservices.co.uk for more information.
